Which ingredients are required to make the fish soup? Which steps to follow?

Indian Restaurant: I know not everyone loves fish soup, but if you try this recipe out, you are sure to get your mind changed. When this soup is being prepared, then salmon is the hero ingredient of the dish. This fish has the nice features to effectively soak the spicy and luscious flavors of the broth.

How would you feel after consuming the soup?

Once you consume the soup, you are sure to feel light and comfortable. This dish offers you a good dosage of carbs which is the requirement of every healthy dish. Thus it includes all the healthy vegetables like the following:

  • White meat
  • Veggies


  • Indian Salmon fillet
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Onion sliced
  • garlic cloves
  • Coriander powder
  • Cumin Powder
  • Chopped Tomatoes
  • Chicken stock
  • Green Chillies or Jalapenos
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • couscous
  • Diced Carrots
  • Diced Parsley



First of all, you are required to slice the fish fillet into two portions. Once sliced, make sure you are seasoning it with salt and pepper. Now, keep it aside and proceed to the next step.


In this step,  you are required to take a large vessel particularly deep bottomed. Put some olive oil in it and heat it on high flame.


Once the oil is piping hot, put onions (slices) and garlic (minced). Sautee them until they release the nicest aroma. Once the aroma is released, now put the cumin and the coriander powder and mix all the ingredients, a nice mix which has been put so far.


Now at this stage, add the tomatoes and stir until they get mushy and get nicely blended with all the ingredients.


Now at this stage, add other vegetables which may include the following:



Also, add the water, salt, pepper, and broth at this stage.


Once all the ingredients are put in, you are required to cook it on the simmer flame for about 30 minutes.


It’s time to make couscous. First of all, put some water into the pot. As soon as the boil comes, you are supposed to add the olive oil and salt as per your taste. Now in the boiling water add the couscous. Turn off the heat and let it steam for about 5 minutes.


Since all the steps have been completed, now it’s time for you to taste and adjust the seasonings as per your taste and preferences.


Take out one cup of water from the pot and add the fish to it. Now cook it at a simmer flame.

The fish starts to turn out opaque and become flaky.


It’s the serving time. First of all, take out a bowl and plate it with the couscous. Now garnish it well by adding vegetables, fish, coriander, and parsley on the top.
